Camden Middle janitor charged with child molestation

A Camden Middle School janitor was arrested Tuesday, Aug. 12, and charged with aggravated child molestation, according to a news release from the Camden County Sheriff’s Office.
Mason Guarino, 22, of Kingsland, was booked into the Camden County Jail at 6:05 p.m.

Cumberland Island fire contained, no serious damage

A wildfire that was a concern for weeks on the north end of Cumberland Island is 100% contained, without damage to structures.
The wildfire kicked off the weekend of July 19, when strong storms with frequent lightning passed through the area and a lightning strike sparked the blaze.

Woodbine adds two new free libraries

Literacy, Education, Arts, Development (LEAD) Woodbine Partners installed two more little free libraries in Woodbine, one at the Woodbine Pharmacy and one at Cornelia Jackson Memorial Park on 15th Street.
These join little free libraries at Harrietts Bluff Park, Mary B.
