Local serves aboard Navy’s oldest commissioned warship

Rick Burke Navy Office of Community Outreach BOSTON – Petty Officer 1st Class Charles Fowler, an alumnus of Camden County High School, is one of more than 60 sailors celebrating America’s 249 years of independence while serving aboard USS Constitution, the Navy’s oldest commissioned warship.

58-year-old sentenced to life in prison

A 58-year-old Kingsland man was sentenced to life in prison after he pleaded guilty to two sex crimes involving a 14-year-old girl, according to a news release from the Brunswick Judicial Circuit District Attorney’s Office.

Kingsland woman earns Community Service Award
