The Rotary Club of Camden County recently gathered to honor Georgia Rotary Student Program (GRSP) Chairman Emeritus Bert Guy for his career of service and significant financial commitment to the program.During the meeting, Guy was recognized with the Frank Bentley Sr. Fellow designation.

St. Marys Kiwanis Club supports Wee Read Program

Representatives from the Rotary Club of Camden County recently spoke at a meeting of the local St. Marys Kiwanis Club to share updates on the Wee Read program, a literacy initiative serving young children in the community.

‘Honored and blessed’

A Camden County resident has been promoted to a top law enforcement post in Georgia.Col. Chris Hodge was recently appointed the director of the Georgia Department of Natural Resources Law Enforcement Division.Hodge began his career with the state agency in 2001 a game warden in the Coastal Region.

Interim county administrator fills leadership positions

Camden County interim administrator Joey Yacobacci has moved quickly to fill leadership posts with the county government.Yacobacci was selected to serve as interim administrator in February after Shawn Boatright resigned his position.

Judge says county commissioners violated state law
