Police: Teen texted about school shooting

A 14-year-old Camden County High School student was arrested Thursday, Sept. 12, and charged with terroristic threats and acts after law enforcement officials said he sent a threatening text message referencing a potential school shooting.

Brunswick DA’s financial problems hit Camden County

The Brunswick Judicial Circuit District Attorney’s Office is deep in the financial hole and those problems hit home in Camden County this week as District Attorney Keith Higgins notified county commissioners that his office would stop providing prosecutors for juvenile court as of Oct. 1.

Judge halts student loan forgiveness in multi-state lawsuit

Lawyers representing the state of Georgia filed another lawsuit challenging a policy of the Biden administration in the federal district court in Brunswick recently, joined by the states of Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Missouri, North Dakota and Ohio, though Missouri is listed first on the complaint.
