Shirley Ann (Fort) Baylor, 87, formerly of Pimlico, South Carolina, a retired telephone operator of Pacific Bell, passed away in St. Simons Island, Friday, Dec. 3, 2021.    Mrs. Baylor was born Oct. 6, 1934 in Kidder, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her father, George B.

Freeman

Dennis “Denny Mo” Michael Freeman, 57, of St. Marys passed away Sunday, Nov. 28, 2021, at his residence while under the care of Hospice of the Golden Isles. Denny Mo was born July 9, 1964, in Detroit, Michigan, to Charles Fredrick and Donna Maxine Malone Freeman.

Williams

Barbara "Bobbi" Williams, 88, of St. Marys, passed away Sunday, Nov. 21, 2021, at Senior Care Center of St. Marys. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 27, 2021, at First Baptist Church of Kingsland, with her son, Rev. Donald Williams, officiating.

Allen

Lorie Hester Allen, 80, went home to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, Nov. 14, 2021, after a long battle with Alzheimer's dementia disease. She was a resident of Fayetteville.

Mitchell

Arthur James Mitchell Sr. was born on Sept. 14, 1948 to Carl and Beatrice Richo Mitchell of Woodbine. He was educated in the public schools of Camden County as well as attending a year in Newark, New Jersey. He graduated as the valedictorian from the Ralph J. Bunche Training School Class of 1966.

Farmer

Michael “Mike” Ray Farmer Sr. passed away at the age of 74, at his home surrounded by family in Folkston, on Nov. 17, 2021. His battle with cancer in recent years showed his courage in facing life challenges with a smile. Despite the pain, he was a hero and stayed strong until the end.

Sellers

Mr. Crittendon “Pete” Sellers, 74, of St. Marys passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on the morning of Tuesday, Nov. 9, 2021 at Hospice of the Golden Isles in Brunswick.  Born in Brunswick on June 18, 1947, to the late C.G.

Pearson

Dale Charles Pearson, born Nov. 12, 1956, in Palatine, Illinois, to Carol and Cliff Pearson, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Nov. 4, 2021. He was 64 years old. Dale was a caring man, always thinking of others first. He loved his country and all of the freedoms she stood for.

DuBose

Ronald Wayne DuBose, devoted husband, loving father and friend to all who knew him, joined his momma, daddy (the late Madge and John P. DuBose) and Jesus unexpectedly Saturday, Nov. 13, 2021, after a brief illness. Ronald was born Dec. 5, 1948, in Jacksonville, Florida.

Cohen

LeShad "Shad" Dandre Cohen, 29, of St. Marys passed away Nov. 8, 2021, at his residence. Shad was born on April 18, 1992, in Brunswick to Jimmie and Dena Cohen. He moved to St. Marys in 2005.
