More than four years after damage from Hurricane Matthew closed the fuel docks at the Fernandina Harbor Marina, boaters can buy both gasoline and diesel fuel, which city leaders hope helps the city-owned facility see the light at the end of the financial tunnel.

Sea turtle season underway

Although there is no way of knowing how busy sea turtle nesting season will be, some mother turtles have made nests on Amelia Island since the season began May 1.  Turtle nesting season runs through the end of October.
