One charter amendment fails in Fernandina Beach election

The results of Fernandina Beach’s mail-in election of amendments to the city’s charter showed 19 of the 20 proposed amendments were approved by voters. Only the amendment that would have allowed more than two Community Redevelopment Districts in the city failed.
