A man accused of killing his wife and 4-year-old daughter killed himself during a traffic stop in Kingsland on Tuesday. According to a news release from the Ocala, Fla. Police Department, police responded to a condominium after gunshots were reported by a neighboring unit.

St. Marys City Council opts to not renew city manager contract

At the end of a four-and-a-half hour meeting Monday night, St. Marys City Council voted to not renew City Manager Robby Horton’s contract. The council voted 4-2 to not renew the contract, with Chad Ingram and Steve Conner opposed to the decision.
