Roland tapped to lead Wildcats program

Camden County High School has its next football coach. On Wednesday afternoon, Camden County Schools’ Board of Education voted 4-1 to hire Mainland High School’s Travis Roland as its next football coach. Roland replaces Jeff Herron, who recently retired from coaching.

4-H’ers compete in District Project Achievement

Camden County 4-H’ers competed Feb. 9-11 in the District Project Achievement competition at Rock Eagle 4-H Center in Eatonton. All of the competitors placed in their project area, and three first-place seniors will attend the Southeast District 4-H competition in Atlanta.
