Reception to showcase photographer’s work

The Community Art Center will host a First Friday Artist Reception 5-8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 3, at 2006 Osborne Road in St. Marys. The Artist of the Month is Roger Graw of R. Graw Photography. Refreshment will be served and Amanda Mood Music will perform on the front porch.

PSA search for next executive director continues

The Camden County Public Service Authority’s search for a new executive director continues. On Thursday, Camden County PSA Board Chairman Terry Landreth said the parks and recreation agency’s sole finalist, Tony Duckworth, was not offered a contract to serve as the executive director.

A 17-year-old Camden County youth was Tased on Friday afternoon by a Kingsland Police Department school resource officer at Camden County High School.

The Camden County Board of Commissioners recognized Scott Van Osdol of the Information Technology (IT) Department on Oct. 17 as Employee of the Quarter. The Camden County Government Employee Recognition Committee received nominations for employee of the quarter.
