School district: New Camden County football coach resigns

Camden County Schools announced Tuesday that Camden County High head football coach Jon Lindsey has stepped down due to “personal, unforeseen reasons,” according to a press release. “Out of respect for Coach Lindsey’s privacy, no further details will be released,” the release says.
While the St. Marys Aquatic Center has lost the city money, staff says it has plans to increase revenue during the 2026 season. St. Marys City Council also recently approved $322,650 in improvements to the Lazy River attraction.
