Kemp earns county employee honor

During the regular meeting April 16, the Camden County Board of Commissioners honored Ernest “Petie” Kemp of the Planning and Development Department, naming him the Employee of the Quarter.

The St. Marys Fire Departments hosted an open house March 30 at Station 2. Event attendees had the opportunity to meet and greet the EMS/fire personnel, ride on a fire truck, try on turnout gear and tour an ambulance.

Southeast Georgia Health System recently received recertification for its Brunswick Campus as an Advanced Primary Stroke Center and the Camden Campus as an Acute Stroke Ready Hospital, both providing Disease-Specific Care.
