What could have been a simple intergovernmental agreement turned out to be not that simple as the St. Marys City Council voted unanimously to deny the National Park Service authorization to dock a vessel at the Gateway docks.

Camden County residents looking to put the Two Rivers Gun Range noise debate to bed will have to wait a little longer. “We don’t have any updates at this time,” County Commissioner Ben Casey said at the commissioners’ latest meeting this week.

The St. Marys Fire Departments hosted an open house March 30 at Station 2. Event attendees had the opportunity to meet and greet the EMS/fire personnel, ride on a fire truck, try on turnout gear and tour an ambulance.

Southeast Georgia Health System recently received recertification for its Brunswick Campus as an Advanced Primary Stroke Center and the Camden Campus as an Acute Stroke Ready Hospital, both providing Disease-Specific Care.
