Diehl briefs BOCC on tight 2020-21 budget

The Nassau County Board of County Commissioners met twice recently to ensure that a flat millage rate is the right decision in setting the tentative millage rate for the 2020-21 fiscal year.

The 61st annual Profession-al Putters Association national championship is slated for Sept. 14-18 at Putt-Putt at Main Beach, which also hosted the event in 2015. Joe Lea and then-APA member Roby Fuller were champions that year.

The COVID-19 numbers for Nassau County

Tuesday, Aug. 4: The cumulative number of positive COVID-19 tests in Nassau County tallied by the Florida Department of Health rose to 1,074 as of Aug.

Nassau Pride delays start of season to Jan. 2

The American Basketball Association and Nassau Pride announced the start of the 2020-21 season will be delayed until Jan. 2 instead of its original opening date of Nov. 7 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

‘Lack of clarity’ from state on CARES Act

TDC mulls changes to Christmas festivities

This year’s edition of Dickens on Centre, a Victorian-themed Christmas festival held annually in downtown Fernandina Beach, remains undecided due to the limits placed on the size of public gatherings due to the coronavirus pandemic.
