Lady Wildcats’ winning streak ends at Bishop Kenny, 51-37

Bishop Kenny ended the Camden County girls’ six-game win streak last Thursday, pulling away in the fourth quarter of a 51-37 home win. Mahliya Reeder scored 11 of her game-high 18 points and canned three three-pointers in the opening quarter, but was the only Lady Wildcat in double figures.

Boys push win streak to three, rise to 6-2

Wins over Glynn Academy and South Effingham Tuesday and last Friday put the Camden County High boys cagers 6-2 ahead of a busy holiday slate. Winners of three straight, the Wildcats will head to Alabama for the Jasper High School Christmas Classic Friday and Saturday.

Level 4 is first; PSA gymnasts earn All-American honors

Camden PSA Gymnastics’ Level 4 team placed first and the XCel Bronze team third at the Radiant Classic Dec. 7 in Kissimmee, Fla. Three gymnasts earned All-American praise. Camden entrants earned 43 top-three placements, either solo or shared, across five levels of competition.

Balanced attack keys boys’ rout

The Camden County boys dominated from the opening tip and rode a balanced attack to blitz Glynn Academy, 82-32 last Saturday in Kingsland.  The Wildcats (4-2) got at least nine points from six players and 43 points from the bench.
