Girls stand 6-1 after defeating Glynn, Statesboro

Home victories over Statesboro and Glynn Academy Tuesday and last Saturday boosted the Camden County High girls hoopsters to 6-1. CCHS will visit South Effingham Friday and Glynn Academy Tuesday.

Twelve Camden County High boys wrestlers topped their divisions, and six others were runners-up last weekend at the Danny Byron Invitational in Kissimmee, Fla. At Osceola High, wrestlers competed in either Gold, White or Blue divisions over two days of tough competition.

Lady Wildcats trip Nease in tourney finale

Ty’Tionna Scott scored a game-high 16 points Nov. 27 as the Camden County High girls routed Nease, 45-25 in Jacksonville and improved to 4-1.  In the finale of the Insider Exposure Thanksgiving Classic at Bishop Snyder, the Lady Wildcats led 13-6, 28-12 and 41-14 after the first three quarters.
