The game of musical chairs in the Region 1-6A state playoff race ended last Friday. Camden County got the last seat.  Coupled with Colquitt’s win over Richmond Hill, the Wildcats booked their postseason ticket by beating visiting Tift, 38-28.

Camden County High cross-country standout Marin Bograd qualified for the state girls Class 6A meet after placing fifth last Saturday in sectional competition at Wilcox County.

Camden flag football blisters Brunswick

The second-year Camden County High flag football team shook off three recent losses by thumping visiting Brunswick, 20-0 Tuesday. Talia Green scored two touchdowns, one rushing and the other receiving from freshman Bree Hall, who also threw to Shania Hardy for a touchdown.
