Experience returning for CCHS tennis

The Camden County High tennis program opens play next week with many returnees who helped the boys and girls both reach the state quarterfinals last spring. “It’s going to be really interesting to see what happens,” head coach Daniel Breag said.

Rifle ’Cats win fourth match, beat Brunswick

Shooting the four highest individual scores of the day, the Camden County High rifle team defeated host Brunswick, 1,158-1,111 last Thursday for its fourth win in four matches. Briana Dougherty set the pace at 293, followed by Skylar Sanford (292), Cheyenne Malone (287) and Brayden Ogden (286).

’Cat divers make splash at Colquitt invitational

The Camden County High girls divers placed first and the boys second Jan. 14 at the Colquitt County High School Diving Invitational. The girls were second through sixth individually. Alyssa Thompson (217.31 score and a 10.7 degree of difficulty) was followed by Jamie Walker (215.6 and 11.

Camden, SMMS split basketball doubleheader
