The Camden County girls and boys soccer teams returned from Effingham with a win and a draw Tuesday. Audrey Clark netted a hat trick as the Lady Wildcats rolled 4-0 in their final non-region match of the regular season.

Blount is low medalist; CCHS girls take sixth at Glynn tournament

Georgia Blount was low medalist and the Camden County High girls golfers finished sixth of 10 teams Monday at the Jekyll Invitational. Blount shot an 81, Samantha Askins a 107 and Sadie Streit a 122 for CCHS, which carded a 310 combined at the Indian Mounds course.

Boys golfers are 10th in Douglas

Griffin Blount tied for ninth individually and R.J. James shared 11th as the Camden County High boys golfers placed 10th of 20 teams Monday at the Neil Graham Invitational in Douglas. Blount carded a 78 and James a 79, and Camden a 341 aggregate at Douglas Country Club.

Camden County notched its fourth Region 1-7A win in a doubleheader split last Friday aagainst visiting Richmond Hill, but slipped to 4-6 in the region with a Tuesday loss at Lowndes.
