Camden County OKs using opioid settlement funds for medical supplies

Camden County commissioners approved spending more than $100,000 on medical equipment Nov. 18 using settlement funds from a national opioid lawsuit. According to county documents, the county is a participant in a national opioid case based out of Ohio.

A traffic stop Monday by the Kingsland Police Department resulted in an out-of-state homicide suspect being detained, according to a news release from the law enforcement agency. According to Kingsland police, a patrol unit stopped a 2021 Kia Sorento that was traveling over the speed limit.
