Lucille Small, 102, of White Oak passed away Sunday, March 22, 2020, in Jacksonville, Florida, at the home of her daughter, Gloria Harris. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 28, at Oak Hill Cemetery in White Oak. Sunset Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Glover

Teresia Glover, 68, of Woodbine passed away Tuesday, March 17, 2020, at Southeast Georgia Health System, Camden Campus. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 28, at Kinlaw Cemetery in Kingsland. Sunset Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Armstrong

Emily Armstrong, 81, of Woodbine passed away on March 19, 2020, at Hospice of the Golden Isles in Brunswick. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 25, at Evergreen Cemetery, Clinch Chapel United Methodist Church in White Oak. Sunset Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Johnson

James Johnson Sr., aka “Papa Juice,” 79, of Kingsland passed away Wednesday, March 18, 2020, at Southeast Georgia Health System in Camden County. He was born on Aug. 6, 1940, to the late Jack Johnson Sr. and Nora Frazier-Johnson in Kingsland.

Rhone

Roosevelt Rhone took his sweet, sweet path to paradise on Thursday afternoon, March 19, 2020. He will be deeply missed, but we mourn not as those who have no hope. We will rejoice to see him again.

Prosen

Christopher Joseph Prosen, 38, of St. Marys died Monday evening, March 16, 2020, at Southeast Georgia Health Systems of Brunswick after an extended illness. Mr. Prosen was born in Jacksonville, Florida, to Ross John Prosen and Melanie Sue Womer Prosen and had made St. Marys his home since 1994.

Hamilton

William Harold “Bones” Hamilton, 88, of St. Marys died Sunday, March 15, 2020, at Hospice of the Golden Isles after an extended illness. Mr. Hamilton was born in Tillman, South Carolina, to the late Manley J. and Lillie Bell Griner Hamilton and had made St. Marys his home since 1969.

Taylor

Willie Mae Taylor, 71, of Woodbine passed away March 11, 2020, at UF Health, Gainesville, Florida, from injuries received in a residential fire. Deaconness Willie Mae (Juanita) Taylor was born on July 2, 1948, to the late Willie Mae Morris Gibbs and the late Malachia Banks.

DeGuire

Daniel Armand DeGuire, 63, of Woodbine passed away Feb. 21, 2020, in Jacksonville, Florida. Daniel was born in Windsor, Ontario, Canada, to Armand and Carole DeGuire on Aug. 29, 1956. Daniel had a lifelong passion for agriculture, architecture, local history/culture and the culinary arts.

Monroe

Mrs. Elizabeth Price Monroe, 89, died Thursday morning, March 12, 2020, at Osprey Village Assisted Living Facility in Amelia Island, Florida, after a lengthy illness. She was born in Knoxville, Tennessee, on March 3, 1931, but resided in Waycross most of her life.  Mrs.
