Capt. Ralph Pierno, 72, of Woodbine died Monday morning, June 29, 2020, at Southeast Georgia Health System, Camden Campus, suddenly. Capt. Pierno was born in Brooklyn, New York, to the late Angelo Pierno and Lucille Pierno Sherkle and made Woodbine his home for the past several years.

Malson

Alice White Malson, 54, of Woodbine died Wednesday, June 24, 2020, at her residence after a sudden illness. Mrs. Malson was born in Boston, Massachusetts, and is the daughter of Steven and Emma Tao White. She made Woodbine her home for the past several years.

Merchant

Wanda Catherine Lee Davis Merchant, 76, of Darien passed away June 22, 2020, at 9:50 p.m. at Hospice of the Golden Isles in Brunswick. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Noble W. Lee of St. Marys. Wanda graduated from Camden County High School and received her RN degree from St.

Haddock

 In loving memory of Johnny Dean Haddock. He was born in Kingston, North Carolina, on Dec. 12, 1946. He passed away peacefully in his home in Kingsland on June 20, 2020. Mr. Haddock was retired from Greyhound bus company as a regional general manager in 1991.

Funderburk

Sheryl Anita Kerry Funderburk, 74, of Kingsland passed away Friday, June 19, 2020, at Baptist Medical Center in Fernandina Beach, Florida. Sheryl was born Jan. 2, 1946, in Fernandina Beach to Ernest L. and Laverne Colson Kerry.

Schulz

Irene A. Schulz, 75, passed away in Folkston on June 21, 2020 after an extended illness. She was born on Feb. 3, 1945, in Jacksonville, Florida, to the late John C. and Lula Mae Parrish Anderson. She was a member of the Kingsland United Methodist Church.

Rinck

Kelsey Cowan Rinck, 26, of Sneedville, Tennessee went home to be with the Lord on June 19, 2020.  She was a member of Wolfenbarger Church. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Emery and Mildred Cowan; grandfather, John Agee; and great-grandmother, Margaret Damron.

Myers

Joyce T. Myers, 87, of St. Marys made her transition on Monday, June 15, 2020, under the watch care of hospice and the St. Marys Senior Care Center. In conjunction with her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, they visited periodically. Mrs.

Matthews

Thelma Faye Matthews, 91, of St. Marys passed away on Saturday, June 20, 2020, at the Senior Care Center of St. Marys.   Thelma was born in St, Marys to the late Raleigh Matthews and Mary Georgeann Hubbard on Jan. 27, 1929.

Harvey

Ruth Plummer Harvey, 81, passed away peacefully at her home on June 22, 2020, surrounded by her family.  Ruth was born and raised in Rugby, Virginia. She was one of 13 children. She was preceded in death by her parents, Cole and Ruby Ashley Plummer, and multiple brothers and sisters.
