Jefferson Reed “J.R.” Jones, 86, of St. Marys died Sunday, July 12, 2020, at Community Hospice and Palliative Care Center in Jacksonville, Florida, after an extended illness.  Mr. Jones was born in Folkston to the late Reed Jones and Viola E. King Jones Bennett and made St.

Jennifer Lyne Vyska Whitman, 36, of St. Marys died Sunday, June 21, at Southeast Georgia Health System of Brunswick after a brief illness. Mrs. Whitman was born in Warchester, Massachusetts, to Cindy Vyska and had made St. Marys her home for the past few years. Mrs.

Willie Dean Rue, 71, passed away at home on July 7, 2020, after an extended illness. She was the loving wife of James Rue Sr. (Jimmy). They shared 53 years of marriage. She was born in Baxley, Georgia, on March 20, 1949, to George Smith Sr. and Gertrude Smith.

Estalene (Esty) Ann Mori Mulder, 86, of St. Marys passed away Tuesday morning, March 31, 2020, at Magnolia Manor and Rehabilitation Center on St. Simons Island.  Estalene was born in Amherst, Ohio, on Nov. 9, 1933, to the late Ester Galloway and the late Albert Mori.

Willie C. Dawson was born on April 7, 1958, to the late Mrs. Jessie Mae Harker-Brown in Fernandina Beach, Florida. He was adopted at birth by Deacon Rufus Dawson and Sister Minnie Mae Dawson, who proceed him in death.

Eddie Mack Powell II, 77, of Kingsland was peacefully called home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 30, 2020. Eddie Mack Powell II affectionately known as Daddy, Poppa and Eddie Mack to many was born in Chiefland, Florida, on Feb. 8, 1943.

James “Tim” Higgins, 58 years old and a longtime resident of Camden County, passed away after a lengthy illness on June 24, 202,0 at Southeast Georgia Health System in Brunswick. Tim was born on Aug. 3, 1961, in Jonesboro, Louisiana, as James Timothy Seymour to Johnathan and Linda Seymour.
