Mary Jane Gandy, 68, of Nashville died Friday, May 22, 2020, at her residence. She was born Sept. 9, 1951, in Thomas County to the late Eunit Frazier and the late Frances Bagley Frazier.

Harter

Jeremiah Frank Harter, 35, of Waverly died Wednesday, May 20, 2020, at Southeast Georgia Health System in Brunswick. Private graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 24, in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m.

Addy

Carroll Eugene “Buck” Addy, 93, of St. Marys died Wednesday, May 20, 2020, at his residence after an extended illness. Mr. Addy was born in Leesville, South Carolina, to the late Carroll Eugene Addy Sr. and Nezzie Gertrude Hendrix Addy and made St. Marys his home for most of his life.

Miller

Roy Everett Miller, 76, of Woodbine died Monday evening, May 18, 2020, at his residence after an extended illness. Mr. Miller was born in Woodbine to the late Roy Alexander Miller and Millie L. Cox Miller and had made Woodbine his home all his life. He was a heavy equipment operator for many years.

Douglas

Jackson Trevor Douglas, 28, of St. Marys died Monday, May 18, 2020, at Southeast Georgia Health System in Brunswick after a sudden illness. Mr. Douglas was born in Brunswick to Ralph David Douglas Jr. and Michelle Chaney Carle and grew up in Camden County.

Roberson

James C. Roberson, 79, of St. Marys died Monday, May 18, 2020, at Southeast Georgia Health System in Camden after a sudden illness. Mr. Roberson was born in Jesup to the late Ira Ward Roberson and Tula Morgan Roberson and made St. Marys his home for most of his life.

Furlow

Richard Harper Furlow Sr., 84, of Waverly died Sunday morning, May 17, 2020, at Hospice of the Golden Isles after an extended illness. Mr. Furlow was born in Sinclairville, New York, to the late Howard Samuel Furlow and Angie Viola Caulkins Furlow and had made Waverly his home for 32 years.

Cross

Jerry Cross, 74 years old, passed away May 10, 2020, of COVID-19. He was a Vietnam Army veteran. He is survived by four children, Dana Cross, Cecil Cross, Danette Myers and Danny Cross; 18 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. He was resident of kingsland for the last 35 years.

Suggs

On Sunday, May 10, 2020, retired Lt. Cmdr. Robert F. Suggs, loving husband of 71 years and father to three daughters, passed away peacefully at the age of 91 with his family by his side.

Kopydlowski

On Thursday, May 14, 2020, Margaret (Meg) Wood Kopydlowski, loving wife and mother, passed away at the age of 55. Meg was born on Sept. 21, 1964 in Valdosta. She received an interior design degree from Georgia State University in 1990.
