Ms. Annie Lee Mangham of Woodbine passed away in the early morning hours of Tuesday, May 12, 2020, at Southeast Georgia Health System in St. Marys. Ms. Mangham was born on May 13, 1926, in Ware County to the late James and Cora Lee Carter. She was an active member of the Forest View Baptist Church.

Hubbard

Hosea Carl Hubbard Sr., affectionately known as Papa, departed this life for his heavenly home on Sunday, May 10, 2020. He was the second of 13 children born June 7, 1937, in St. Marys to the late Vivian Mae and Arthur Hubbard. He received an education at Ralph Bunche High School. On Nov.

Rev. Dr. Quan DeLeon Glover, 51, was a native of Jacksonville, Florida. He was the 14th child born March 25, 1969, to the late Mrs. Virginia Glover Walker. Rev. Glover was raised by his mother and the late Mr. Johnnie Walker, whom he loved and respected as his father.

Mrs. Glenda Annette Gillette, 81, of Woodbine went into the arms of Jesus on the afternoon of Saturday, May 9, 2020, at Southeast Georgia Health System in Brunswick.  Mrs. Gillette was born on March 22, 1939, in Chattahoochee, Florida, to the late Malcolm and Katherine Rentz. Mrs.

Hendrix

Janice Murray Hendrix, 73, of Nahunta passed away early Sunday morning, May 10, 2020, at her residence after an extended illness. Born in Douglas, her parents were Joe Clarence and Johnnie Ruth Ricketson Murray. She is also preceded in death by a brother, Lawrence Murray.

Laverne Robinson, of St. Marys passed away at home Tuesday, April 28, 2020, surrounded by her loving family. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 16, at Kinlaw Cemetery. Sunset Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Charlie Holton Avera, 74, of St. Marys died early in the morning on Thursday, May 7, 2020, at Baptist Medical Center Nassau, Fernandina Beach, Florida, after an extended illness. Mr. Charlie Avera was born in Macon to the late Harold and Helen Avera.

Jason Scott Young, 43, passed suddenly on April 9, 2020, at Southeast Georgia Health System, Brunswick. Our big-hearted, life-loving biker was survived by his wife, Leigh Young; children Rachael Young, Taylor Woolard, Ryder Young, and three bonus children Peace, Hunter and Melissa.

Easton

Calvin Wesley Easton, 72, of St. Marys died Tuesday morning, April 28, 2020, at his residence after an extended illness. Mr. Easton was born in Atlanta to the late Moses and Henrietta Easton and had made Woodbine his home most of his life.

Mills

Samuel Webster Mills Jr., 65, of St. Marys died Monday afternoon, April 27, 2020, at Hospice of the Golden Isles after an extended illness. Mr. Mills was born in Concord, North Carolina, to the late Samuel Webster Mills Sr. and Ruth Robbins Mills and made St. Marys his home since 1984.
