Fifty Camden County 4-H’ers in fifth through 10th grade competed in Georgia 4-H’s annual District Project Achievement contests.
Four Senior 4-H’ers (grades 9-12) competed at Rock Eagle on Feb. 4, and 46 Cloverleaf 4-H’ers (grades five and six) competed in Bacon County on March 18.

Camden commissioners approve funding for K-9 training building

The Camden County Board of Commissioners unanimously agreed to spend $43,492.64 for a Camden County Sheriff’s Office K-9 training center.
Last year, commissioners agreed to spend $75,000 on the steel building, which will be located at 7160 U.S. Highway 17 in Kingsland.
