New Camden County superintendent of schools to earn $190K

Camden County Schools’ new superintendent agreed to a three-year term, according to contract details released to the Tribune & Georgian.
Tracolya Green signed the three-year deal June 20 after the Camden County Board of Education unanimously approved her as the next superintendent.

In May, Superintendent John Tucker’s retirement from Camden County Schools was quietly included in the agenda packet under “personnel” during a school board meeting.

City of St. Marys to buy three police vehicles

Despite early consternation from one St. Marys City Council member, Council unanimously approved the purchase of three Chevrolet Tahoes for the St. Marys Police Department.
