Simon Muldoon, co-founder of Mocama Beer Company, decided the new brewery, 629 S. Eighth St. in Fernandina Beach, needed a brewhouse kitty. Cats Angels Executive Director Sherry Merritt had kittens in foster care that needed a good home.  It was the purr-fect match.

Wildlight debuts artisan farmers market this weekend

Wildlight, the new sprawling development in Yulee, is hosting its first artisan farmers market Saturday. The Wildlight Market Place will offer a variety of vendors on the first and third Saturday of each month.
How’s this for rare, fast and eccentric? The Devlin 428 was built in 2013 to pre-1978 road racing class specifications. The engine is based on a 1976 Yamaha RD400 two-stroke that has been modified to produce 67 horsepower. The frame is 4130 chromoly, and the bodywork is rolled and hammered aluminum fabricated entirely by the designer, Devlin Hunt.
