The Fernandina Beach Marina Advisory Board wants the local business community to appreciate the people the marina brings to town and the money those visitors spend.

The 2020-21 season was the last for Matt Schreiber, 64, head boys basketball coach at Fernandina Beach High School. He’s retiring from coaching and teaching after 41 years — 39 in Nassau County.

Nikki Main | News-Leader A new law enforcement and fire rescue training facility is being built on a 40-acre compound off County Road 108 in Yulee.  This comes after five years of planning and acquiring funds to complete phase one of the project.

The city-owned Fernandina Harbor Marina has a silting problem, but how to address that problem has not been determined.
