More than 60 high school girls and boys basketball teams packed five local gymnasiums last week for the fourth annual Wildcat Shootout, which also signaled the end of a busy month for the Camden County High dribblers.

The annual Historic St. Marys Fishing Classic last Saturday welcomed an unprecedented turnout for competition in several species.  With 175 entries, “this is the largest tournament we’ve ever had,” tournament director Jerre Brumbelow said. “Best weather we’ve ever had.
