CCHS runners’ first race will be Saturday

The Camden County High cross-country runners leave the starting line Saturday, as a Hazlehurst race is the first of 10 on the regular-season schedule. “One of the reasons I started so early because the last few years, with all the weather and hurricanes,” longtime coach Jason Konrad said Monday.

Camden PSA gymnasts won outright or tied for first place in 37 events June 18-21 at the AAU Nationals in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. Nine gymnasts had multiple firsts, and XCel Bronze competitor Stella Smith earned All-American honors with five event victories.
