Camden County picked a great time for its first field goal of the season. Jacob Vermilyea’s 32-yard kick as time expired lifted the Wildcats over host Tift, 24-21 last Friday.

Swim ’Cats race to firsts at Pumpkin Plunge

The Camden County High boys swimmers added three individual state qualifications, and the host school topped the boys, girls and combined standings in the Pumpkin Plunge last Thursday at the Camden Community Recreation Center pool.

Wilder’s third leads CCHS wrestlers at Super 32

A dozen Camden County High wrestlers tackled some of the nation’s best competition at the Super 32 Challenge Oct. 18-19 in North Carolina. At 215 pounds, Ryder Wilder won six of seven matches en route to a third-place showing and All-American honors.
