PSA suspends all sports programs

The Camden County PSA has announced that all youth programs, including baseball, softball, T-ball, track and gymnastics will be postponed for two weeks, through April 3. The PSA intends to resume the season if possible.

Colquitt puts up a fight but Camden wins both games

Coach Mike White | Special to the Tribune & Georgian     Friday night the girls varsity soccer team started the home set of matches with a 6-0 win against Colquitt. The 6-0 win was not a complete surprise because they beat the Packers 10-0 in Moultrie a few weeks ago.

CMS boys post 17 wins in season

The Camden Middle School boys basketball team defeated Risley Middle School 37-33 on Feb. 27 at Brunswick High School to win the Coastal Georgia Middle School Conference Championship. The team went undefeated in the 17-game schedule, earning the most wins in school history.

Glynn knocks down Wildcats

The next generation of wrestling Wildcats headed to the Georgia Kids State Wrestling Tournament this past Saturday in Perry. Camden’s middle school wrestlers racked up six finishes in the top five.

Tennis Cats win against Lowndes, Tift

Camden tennis faced down teams from Lowndes and Tifton last week each winning 3-2 against Lowndes on Feb. 18 and 5-0 against Tifton three days later. Playing away, the Camden girls racked up three wins over Lowndes. At No. 1, Kennison Blackerby lost her match (3-6, 5-7) to Halle Gandy. At No.

Girls soccer opens home season 3-1

Wrestlers earn another state title

  Shannon Heaton | South Georgia Matmen Another senior class at Camden County High School has completed its wrestling career without knowing what it’s like to lose as a team in the Macon Centreplex. The Wildcats won their sixth consecutive team championship Saturday afternoon, Feb.
