Woodbine library set to open by month’s end

After years of fundraising, planning and construction, Woodbine Public Library is set to open by the end of the month.  Colleen Weinkle, a representative of the library board, spoke to members of the Woodbine City Council during their remote meeting on Monday.

Firefighter faces felony for allegedly filming coworker

A St. Marys firefighter was arrested last week for allegedly trying to film a coworker while she was in the bathroom at the fire station. Connor Wade Hodges, 22, of Hilliard, Florida, was arrested Sept. 1 and charged with unlawful eavesdropping or surveillance, which is a felony.

Accident kills man on Laurel Island
