Gillian Peitzmeyer (also known as “Jill,” “The Knitting Queen” and “The Tax Lady”), 85, passed away peacefully at her home of 41 years in St. Marys on Nov. 29, 2021.

William Burt Butts, 89, of Seneca, South Carolina, passed away peacefully on Saturday, Feb. 12, 2022, at Oconee Memorial Hospital.  

He was born Aug. 6, 1932, in LaGrange.  

Steven Edmund Monahan, 58, of Folkston passed away at his residence on Feb. 12, 2022.

Shirley Ann Arnold-Alexander, 60, of St Marys has peacefully passed on to eternal rest on Feb. 13. 

Hilda "Jeanette" Peeples, 89, of Kingsland passed away at her residence on Feb. 11, 2022.

Ernest Edwards, 74, of Woodbine passed away at Southeast Georgia Health Systems – Camden Campus, on Monday, Feb. 7, 2022. God stepped in and said take your rest, your assignment is complete.

Madeline Lambert Way was born on July 17, 1923, in Woodbine.

She departed this earthly life on Monday, Jan. 31, 2022.

Mrs. Catherine Grady Sullivan, 81, unexpectedly passed away on Friday, Feb. 4, 2022, at her home in St. Marys. Mrs. Sullivan (Kay) was born Sept.

Stephanie Lynn Joyce, 51, passed away at her home on Feb. 3, 2022, in St. Marys. She was born on March 25, 1970 to Bill and Kathy Joyce at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida.

Vickie Jackson, 64, of Woodbine (Kinlaw Community) Georgia, passed away peacefully on Sunday, Feb. 6, 2022, at Southeast Georgia Health System – Brunswick.
