Newton-Johnston

Ms. Dorothy Jean Newton-Johnston, 91, passed away on Monday, April 4, 2022, at her home in Kingsland. Ms. Newton-Johnson was born on March 23, 1931, in Jacksonville, Florida, to the late Lawrence and Rena Waits. Memorialization was by cremation and there will be no funeral at her request. Ms.

Mack

Rev. Leon Mack Sr., 68, of Woodsville made his transition from the earthly realm to the spiritual realm of life, and flew amongst the ancestors on March 28, 2022, at 10:05 a.m. EST. Leon was born on Oct. 29, 1953, to the late Thomas Jefferson "T.J." Mack and Anna Louise Gordon Mack in Cobbtown.

DeGuire

Armand Oliver DeGuire, 88, of Kingsland passed away on Saturday, April 2, 2022.  Armand was born in Windsor, Ontario, Canada, to the late Oliver Armand  and Laura DeGuire on June 10, 1933.

Burnham

Kenneth B. Burnham Jr. of Tampa, Florida, passed away peacefully on March 13, 2022. Ken was born in Woodbine, GA in 1937 and attended high school in Alcoa, Tennessee.

Banister

Edmond Linton Banister, 70, of Statesville passed away Sunday, March 27, 2022, at the Gordon Hospice House in Statesville. Born on Oct. 18, 1951, in Charleston, South Carolina, he was the son of the late Emory Laumont Banister and Edith Virginia Murdaugh Banister.

Clements

Terry Newman Clements, 71, of St. Marys passed away the March, 18, 2022, at Southeast Georgia Hospital in Brunswick, Georgia. A native of Brunswick, Terry was born the March 2, 1951. From an early age, Terry showed tremendous skill in the areas of music, science and mathematics.

Rigdon

Annie Mae Horne Rigdon, 89, of Wartrace, Tennessee, formally of Ellijay, passed on Sunday, March 20, 2022. Annie was born April 30, 1933, to her late parents Nathan and Jessie Estelle (Haddock) Horne. Annie was a member of the River Hill Baptist Church in Ellijay.

Tallent

Linda G. Tallent, 75, passed away at Southeast Georgia Health System, Camden Campus, on March 20, 2022. Linda was born on Sept. 10, 1946, in Monroe, Louisiana, to the late James and Dorothy Jenkins. She worked as a designer at the Closet Factory. She moved from Marietta to Camden County in 1996.

Barbara Ann Woodward Register, 70, of Folkston passed away Monday morning, March 14, 2022, at UF Health Shands in Jacksonville, Florida. Born in Augusta, her parents were Charlie Venton Woodward and Mary E. Hamn Woodward.
