Trapnell

Betty Jean Craven Trapnell, 88, of St. Marys passed away on Dec. 26, 2021, at The Lakes Crossing Senior Living Care Facility, Kingsland. Betty was born on Aug. 28, 1933, in Jacksonville, Florida, to the late Kirby T. and Elsie Rae Hammond Craven.

Oglesby

Mrs. Angela Jo Oglesby, 71, of Nahunta died early Monday morning at her residence after an extended illness. Born and raised in Waycross, she lived in St. Marys during her husband's career, but upon his retirement they settled in Brantley County.

Noyes

John Alan Noyes, 71, of Kingsland, formerly of Casey, Illinois, passed away peacefully in his home on Dec. 21, 2021 following a very long battle with cancer.  John was born June 15, 1950. He was raised and attended area schools in Marshall, Illinois.

Lesho

Anthony “Tony” Lesho Sr., 69, fought a very difficult battle with COPD over several years, and unfortunately passed away suddenly from complications due to the disease.   Anthony was born in Akron, Ohio. on Feb.

Hutchinson

Dorothy Mae Hutchinson was born Feb. 15, 1923, in White Oak to the late Dewey Woodard and the late Beauty P. Gibbs. Dorothy was called home on Dec. 23, 2021. She married the Late Floyd Hutchinson in 1947. This union includes a son, Noah Clark Jr.

Morris

Amber Renee Morris, 29, was born on Feb. 26, 1992, to Guy and Renee Morris. Amber departed this life on Wednesday, Dec. 15, 2021.

Meshanko

Debra Kay McCall Meshanko, 65, of Kingsland passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on Dec. 11, 2021, at Baptist Medical Center in Jacksonville, Florida. Debbie was born in Butler, Pennsylvania, on Dec. 15, 1955. She was the daughter of the late Richard H. and Betty Smith McCall.

Calhoun

Gretchen Janine Calhoun, 50, of Woodbine passed away from a COVID breakthrough. She fought bravely for three months but finally lost her battle on Dec. 17, 2021, while she was at the Select Specialty Hospital in Savannah. Gretchen attended Mt.

Scott

Patricia W. Scott, 79, of St Marys passed away at Life Care Center of Hilliard, Florida, on Nov. 16, 2021. Patsy was born on May 21, 1942, to the late Eva and Clinton Wright Sr. in Brunswick. She has lived most of her life in St. Marys.

Reich

Joanne Costello Reich, 84, passed away suddenly on Saturday, Nov. 28, in St. Marys.    Joanne was born on Jan. 19, 1937, in Washington D.C., the daughter of Theresa Carlin Reynolds and Herbert Samuel Reynolds.
