Thursday, Oct. 21, 2021, Laurie Drummond Jr. answered the Heavenly Father’s call, his spirit took flight to be present with the Lord. Deacon Laurie Drummond Jr. was born on New Year’s Eve, Dec. 31, 1925, to the late Laurie Drummond Sr. and Edith Smith.

Sanford S. Feller passed away at Hospice of the Golden Isles in Brunswick on Friday, Oct. 15, 2021.  Born on Sept. 11, 1932, in Brooklyn, New York, he was raised, educated and worked in the Bronx. He attended City College of NY.

Cruz

Melba O. Cruz, 64 of Kingsland passed away at UF Health Shands in Jacksonville, Florida, on Oct. 13, 2021 and is now reunited with her parents. Melba was born on April 9, 1957, in McAllen, Texas.

Allen

Janet Sueverkruepp Allen, 59, of Folkston passed away at UF North Jacksonville, Florida, on Oct. 13, 2021. Janet was born on July 20, 1962, in Rockledge, Florida, to the late Donald and Rosemary Sueverkruepp.

Emily Joy Marano, 13, of Kingsland passed away at Southeast Georgia Health System, Camden Campus, on Oct. 5, 2021. Emily Joy was born in Jacksonville, Florida, on Nov. 12, 2007. She was an eighth-grade student at Camden Middle School.

Gillis Daniel Morris, 30, of Kingsland, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 13, 2021, at Southeast Georgia Health System in Brunswick.   A visitation for family and friends was held 4-6 p.m. Sunday, Oct.

Mrs. De-Borah Ann Reddick, 65 of St. Marys passed away in the late evening hours of Wednesday, Sept. 29, 2021, at Southeast Georgia Health System in Brunswick.  Mrs. Reddick was born on April 30, 1956, in Akron, Ohio, to Herbert and Willie Ann Neal. Mrs.

Robert J. Robson, 84, of St. Marys, passed away Oct. 8, 2021, while at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida.

Robinson

Anthony Robinson Sr., 75, was born in Jacksonville, Florida, on Oct. 29, 1945, to Hezekiah Robinson and Elsie Armstrong.  He attended the Duval County schools, graduating from Stanton Vocational High School.  Mr. Robinson worked as a heavy equipment operator for 40 years with St.

Maynard

Leasel "LD" Dwayne Maynard, 66, of St. Marys passed away at his residence on Sept. 26, 2021. L.D. was born in El Paso, Texas, on Jan. 27, 1955 to the late Robert and Iris Maynard. He was in the military and served as a corpsman in the United States Navy. He had been living in St. Marys since 1992.
