Deana Cagle Luebbert, 55, of Shreveport, Louisiana, peacefully passed away on Friday, March 19, 2021, after a long struggle and bitter battle with metastatic breast cancer that eventually took her life. She was born in Marietta.

Doris Ruth Menius passed away at her home on March 24, 2021, as she requested. Holding her hand and talking to her was her son-in-law, Ron Anderson. Doris was born on Dec. 8, 1932, to Wilbur and Julia Gray in Lexington, North Carolina.

Helen Walker Goldwire, 87, of Kingsland passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Saturday, March 27, 2021. Helen Walker Goldwire was born March 10, 1934, in White Oak to the late Lee Walker Jr. and Wyona Givens Walker. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

John “JC” Ceafus Carver Sr., 74, of Kingsland passed away Friday, March 26, 2021, at Southeast Georgia Health System in Brunswick. A celebration of life will be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 30, at Allison Memorial Chapel. JC was born Feb.

Luberta Drummond Sullivan, 76, of Woodbine peacefully passed away at her home on Monday, March 22, 2021.   The last of nine children, she was affectionally known by her nieces and nephews as “No. 9.” Luberta was born Jan. 9, 1945, to the late Laurie Sr. and Edith Smith Drummond.
