Edythe DeBoer, 96, of St. Marys passed away Monday, March 1, 2021, at Magnolia Manor on St. Simons Island. Private inurnment will be held at Jacksonville National Cemetery in Jacksonville, Florida. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert DeBoer.

Grenier

Nestor Aime Grenier, 85, of St. Marys passed away at Southeast Georgia Health System (Camden Campus) on Feb. 22, 2021.  He worked for the United States Air Force for 20 years as an airplane mechanic. Mr. Grenier has lived in St. Marys since 1998 and was of the Catholic faith.

Doolittle

Reida Lee Doolittle, 69, of St. Marys passed away Feb. 19, 2021, at her residence.  Services to celebrate Reida's life will be held at 5 p.m. Friday, March 5, and fellowship with family and friends will begin at 4:30 p.m.  Reida was born Dec.

Edward Earl Armstrong, 89, of White Oak (Tarboro Community) peacefully slept away into his eternal resting place on Friday, Feb. 26, 2021, at UF Health, Jacksonville, Florida. Edward Earl Armstrong was born on July 3, 1931, to Charles Early and Myrtle Armstrong.

Yarbrough

David Barrett Yarbrough, 42, passed away Saturday, Feb. 20, 2021, in Palatka, Florida. He was born July 22, 1978, in Waycross.

Beaver

George Arlen Beaver, 73, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 23, 2021, at his home in St. Marys. George was born at the naval hospital in Aiea Heights, Hawaii, to George W. and Pauline Beaver.

Glenda Faye Courson Batten  77, of White Oak passed away Tuesday, Feb. 23, 2021 at her home.  She was born Sept. 3, 1943, in Blackshear to the late Earnie Courson and Willie Faye Courson.   She is survived by her children, Steven T.

Elainna Anderson, 35, of Kingsland fought the good fight, a true warrior and finished her course on Wednesday, Feb. 17, 2021, at SGHS, Brunswick Campus. On a bright and glorious day, July 1, 1985, Elainna Donyell Anderson entered this world at 8 pounds, 20 inches long, in Brunswick to Veronica L.

Monique Zenjay Southers, 50, of Kingsland passed away on Feb. 18, 2021, at Southeast Georgia Health System, Brunswick Campus. Monique was born on Jan. 7, 1971, to parents, James Southers Jr. and Patricia Edwards “TriciaAnn” Henderson in Fernandina Beach, Florida.

Pitts

Myrtle Lucile Pitts, 77, passed away on Friday, Feb. 19, 2021, at her home, after a long illness, surrounded by her family. Myrtle was born on Feb. 7, 1944, to the late Henry and Jewell (Crumley) Morris in Hazlehurst. She graduated from Jeff Davis High School, Class of ‘62.
