Betty Sue Wilkerson Murray, 77, vacated her riverfront home on the great Satilla River near Jeffersonton to make her new eternal home with her savior, Jesus Christ, on Saturday, May 29, 2021. She had lived on the river since 1970. Betty was the fourth child of Eunice Mae Merritt and J.C.

Jimmie Amos Martin, 87 passed away on May 28, 2021, at his daughter, Jeanette’s home in Kingsland. He had been a resident of Kingsland for the past 44 years. Mr. Martin was born on April 20, 1934, in Berrien County, Georgia, to the late Clifford and Donnie Mae Martin.

Janice Lanell Jones, 48, of St. Marys passed away early Saturday morning, May 22, 2021, in Jacksonville, Florida. Janice was born July 6, 1972, in Groton, Connecticut, to Rick and Chloe Ann Newman Jones. She had lived in St. Marys since 1988 and had lived in various places during her father's U.S.

Mildred Elizabeth Walters, 84, passed away at her residence on May 22, 2021. Mildred has lived in Camden County all of her life. She was of the Baptist faith and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She loved to cook and enjoyed being with her family and friends.

Mr. Robert Thomas “Jesus Hat Bob” Parrish Sr., 78, of Kingsland died on Friday, May 7, 2021, from complications of Covid and pneumonia.  Bob, as he was known to family and friends, was born on Feb. 1, 1943, to Orville and Margaret Parrish in Orangeburg, South Carolina.

Matthew John Davis, 38, of St. Marys passed away at his home on Saturday, May 15, 2021.  Matthew was born Aug. 15,1982 in Kingman, Arizona. He spent his young life there, moving with his parents to Michigan where he spent the remainder of his youth.

Joe Ann Campbell went to be with her heavenly Father on Thursday, May 13, 2021. She was born Sept. 28, 1952, in Fernandina Beach, Florida, to the late Rev. Raymond W. Campbell Sr. and the late Mrs. Janette Campbell. She was also preceded in death by her four siblings: Raymond W. Campbell Jr.
