Davis

Paul Dewey Davis, 89, of Kingsland died Friday evening, Oct. 16, 2020, at his residence after an extended illness. Mr. Davis was born in Portal, Georgia, to the late Dewey Davis and Mattie Smith Davis and made Kingsland his home for many years.

Mincey

Deacon Charles S. Mincey, 83, of Kingsland passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2020, at the Senior Care Center in Brunswick. He was born on March 14, 1937, to the late, Berry and Susie Coney-Mincey in Naples, Florida.

Walters

Henry Howard “Hank” Walters Jr., a loving husband and father, left this world unexpectedly on Monday, Oct. 12, 2020 at the age of 58. Hank was the eldest son of Henry H. and Betty Jane Walters. He was born and raised in Jackson, Mississippi, where he also attended college.

Samples

Herbert “Ray” Samples, 1929-2020, recently passed on Oct. 10, 2020. He was born at home on July 24, 1929, in Pepper (Flemington), West Virginia, to the late Herbert and Linda (Poling) Samples. He proudly served in the U.S. Army. He attended Alderson Broaddus College in Philippi, West Virginia.

Eason

Jessee Tillman Eason, 85, of Kingsland died Friday, Oct. 9, 2020, at his residence after an extended illness. Mr. Eason was born July 6, 1935, in Browntown, Brantley County, to the late James Hines Eason and Lois Lane Eason.

Dale

Rex Richard Dale, 77, of St. Albans, Vermont, joined the Lord’s team on Oct. 5, 2020. His daughter Gale was by his side. Rex was born May 4, 1943, in Alton, Illinois, to the late Rex and Doris Dale. He was also predeceased by his loving wife, Gail, and his son, Scott.

Rudolph

Shelly Rudolph Jr., 69, of Woodbine passed away on Oct. 3, 2020, at Southeast Georgia Health System, Brunswick Campus. He was born on Nov 5, 1950, to the late Shelly and Gertie Clark-Rudolph Sr. in Woodbine. Shelly was a Ralph J. Bunche alumnus and graduated in the Class of 1969.

Roberts-Wiggins

Robyn Isabelle Roberts-Wiggins, 69, of St. Marys passed away on Saturday, Oct. 3, 2020, at her home surrounded by her loving family. Robyn was born on Dec. 30, 1950, to the late Isadore H. Roberts Sr. and Myrtee Roberts in St. Marys. She was a faithful member of First African Baptist Church in St.

Hoylman

William Ray Hoylman Sr., 1928-2020, affectionately known as Bill, recently died at the local senior care center on Oct. 2 under the care of the Hospice of the Golden Isles after a lengthy battle with Parkinson and Alzheimer’s diseases.

Small

Otis G. Small Sr., 64, of Bronx, New York, passed away on May 6, 2020, in New York City.  Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 10, at Clinch Chapel Cemetery. Royal Funeral Home in charge of services.
